DESCRIPTION

Formerly known as Oneida Golf & Riding Club, the golf course was originally laid out by Stanley Pelchar in 1928. Pelchar had formed Chicago based United States Golf Architects, Inc. in the 1920's along with landscape architect Otta Clauss and engineer James Pendergrast.  Together, they laid out around twelve golf courses in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.  Pelchar was assisted during the course construction process by Dorr Packard.

The course has long been revered among the best in Wisconsin despite its "under the radar" distinction.  A terrific use of rolling terrain and strategic exposure to Duck Creek, which winds through the property while directly touching seven of the holes. Oneida even played host to notable exhibition former Green Bay Packers coach (and club member) Vince Lombardi and Jack Nicklaus (along with the club's head professional Bill Furnari and former Packer player, Don Hutson.

The course has, like many others, gone through its share of influences and evolution, with works executed by architect Bob Lohman in 1985 and then further works at the hand of Arthur Hills between 2015 and 2018.
