Developing a Program for Golf Course Improvements

Bunker and tee renovations completed in 2015 and 2016

Greens renovation completed in summer of 2018

DESCRIPTION

Audubon is a well-established private golf community built on a coastal ridge of west Florida in North Naples. Built in 1989, the Joe Lee designed course weaves throughout a master planned residential estate with holes fronting coastal estuaries and mangrove islands.

Our consulting efforts to date involve a complete study for improving/expanding the practice facilities (not yet undertaken) as well as improvements to the bunkering, paths and other course elements.  The course underwent a grass conversion from #419 Bermudagrass to Celebration Bermudagrass in two phases (2015-2016).  At that time, we also made timely refinements to the tee complexes and the bunkering followed by a complete redesign and construction of the greens during the summer of 2018.

In 2021-2022 JDR took on the development of a more comprehensive, long-range analysis of the golf course to secure a vision and identity for Audubon's golf amenity.
