Golfweek's Brad Klein recently placed a column in the magazine called "The Gathering Storm", citing examples of how and when private clubs embark down the wrong path in their efforts to plan and gain approval for renovations to their golf course assets. Klein went as far as to profile the recent success JDR had at Chicago's historic Old Elm Club. As he states, "Sometimes, the most successful meetings are the ones that never take place."
